What is Olmecip (Olmesarta Medoxomil) used for?

Olmecip (Omesartan Medoxomil) is a medication prescribed to treat high blood pressure (Hypertension) in patients. It is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist that operates by preventing blood vessels in the body from narrowing. This causes increased blood circulation and relieves the workload put on the heart. Increased circulation and widening of the pathways blood travels through effectively reduces blood pressure to treat the symptoms of patients suffering from related conditions.

Your doctor may also adjust your dosage up to 40 mg taken daily after observing your response.

Always take Olmecip according to your doctor's instructions to ensure the correct use. The tablets may be taken with or without food along with a full glass of water.
